Today we launched our new website! Residents, businesses and visitors can now find information about Lake County Government, departments and services at a new URL lakecountyco.gov. The switch to .gov (from .com) will enhance the County's page results in google searches making it easier for our community to learn about local services.
Because of the switch to a .gov URL, you may have reached us today through a redirect from the old site. Regular website visitors are encouraged to update their bookmarks, as links to our old .com site no longer work.
The new website includes new features like fillable forms, slideshows, surveys and more. The Lake County homepage will continue to feature regular news items, as well as a new consolidated calendar listing all County meetings and County-produced events.
Starting today, web visitors can follow the "subscribe" button on the home page to sign up for text or email updates about meeting agendas, minutes, news, according to their interests.
